Cozy Chinchillas

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

Chinchillas are slightly larger and more robust than ground squirrels, and are native to the Andes mountains in South America. They live in colonies at very high elevations. Historically, chinchillas lived in an area that included parts of Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Chile, but today, colonies in the wild are known only in Chile.

The chinchilla has the densest fur of all mammals that live on land. By the end of the 19th century, chinchillas had become quite rare after being hunted for their ultra-soft fur. Domesticated chinchillas are sometimes kept as pets, and may be considered a pocket pet.

SUGAR GLIDER

Sweet Sugar Gliders

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

The sugar glider is a small, omnivorous, arboreal, and nocturnal gliding possum belonging to the marsupial family. The common name refers to its preference for sugary foods like sap and nectar and its ability to glide through the air, much like a flying squirrel.

Gliding serves as an efficient means of reaching food and evading predators. The animal is covered in soft, pale grey to light brown fur which is countershaded, being lighter in colour on its underside. The sugar glider is endemic to parts of mainland Australia, New Guinea and certain Indonesian islands.

Peaceful Doves

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

Usually domestic rock doves bred for small size and white coloration are released due to their homing ability.

Barbary doves carry a mutation that makes them completely white. These white Barbary doves are most commonly used in stage magic acts. White Barbary doves are sometimes released in large public ceremonies as a peace symbol, and at weddings.

Cool Bearded Dragons

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

Bearded dragons originate from deserts in Australia, with the various species occupying slightly overlapping areas of the landmass. They live in the arid and subtropical woodlands, scrublands, savannas, shore areas, and into the great interior deserts.

Their range extends throughout the interior of the eastern states to the eastern half of South Australia and southeastern Northern Territory. They are considered to be semi-arboreal and will quite readily climb and bask at height. This is also linked to dominance behavior and competition for territory/basking areas.

Baby Hedgehogs

INCLUDED IN ZOOTOPIA

Hedgehogs share distant ancestry with shrews and have adapted to a nocturnal way of life. There are seventeen species of hedgehog in five genera found through parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa, and in New Zealand by introduction.

There are no hedgehogs native to Australia and no living species native to the Americas. Their spiny protection resembles that of the unrelated porcupines.

Yellow Foot Tortoise

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

The yellow-footed tortoise is found in the Amazon Basin of South America. With an average length of 15 inches, it's the third-largest mainland tortoise specie and its commonly referred to as the Brazilian Giant. These tortoises are omnivores and can eat plants and meat.

Cute Guinea Pigs

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

Despite their common name, Guinea Pigs are not in the pig family, nor do they come from Guinea in Africa. The origin of their name is still unclear; but they originated in the Andes of South America.

Their docile nature; friendly, even affectionate, responsiveness to handling and feeding; and the relative ease of caring for them have made and continue to make guinea pigs a popular choice of pet.

BUNNY

Cuddly Bunnies

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

European rabbit, which has been introduced on every continent except Antarctica, is familiar throughout the world as a wild prey animal and as a domesticated form of livestock and pet.

With its widespread effect on ecology and cultures, the rabbit (or bunny) is, in many areas of the world, a part of daily life and a source of artistic inspiration.

NOTE: The color markings or particular breed of the animals may vary by location.

We come prepared for parties - rain or shine.
We bring carpet to lay down for parties indoors.

Farm animals like goats and sheep bring up food and chew it again to extract more nutrients through a process called regurgitation. Unlike ruminants that regurgitate and often carry parasites, our critters are clean, healthy animals any one can pet.
