Cute Guinea Pigs

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

Despite their common name, Guinea Pigs are not in the pig family, nor do they come from Guinea in Africa. The origin of their name is still unclear; but they originated in the Andes of South America.

Their docile nature; friendly, even affectionate, responsiveness to handling and feeding; and the relative ease of caring for them have made and continue to make guinea pigs a popular choice of pet.

NOTE: The color markings or particular breed of the animals may vary by location

Cuddly Bunnies

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

European rabbit, which has been introduced on every continent except Antarctica, is familiar throughout the world as a wild prey animal and as a domesticated form of livestock and pet.

With its widespread effect on ecology and cultures, the rabbit (or bunny) is, in many areas of the world, a part of daily life and a source of artistic inspiration.

Cool Bearded Dragons

INCLUDED IN ZOOTOPIA

Bearded dragons originate from deserts in Australia, with the various species occupying slightly overlapping areas of the landmass. They live in the arid and subtropical woodlands, scrublands, savannas, shore areas, and into the great interior deserts.

Their range extends throughout the interior of the eastern states to the eastern half of South Australia and southeastern Northern Territory. They are considered to be semi-arboreal and will quite readily climb and bask at height. This is also linked to dominance behaviour and competition for territory/basking areas.

Sulcata Tortoise

INCLUDED IN ZOOTOPIA

The African spurred tortoise, also called the Sulcata tortoise, is a species of tortoise, which inhabits the southern edge of the Sahara desert in Africa. It is the third-largest species of mainland tortoise in the world. They are known as gentle giants.

Adults can reach 30 in and can weigh 230 lb. They grow very quickly, reaching 6-10 in within the first few years of their lives. They can live for more than 70 years.

Lamancha Goat

INCLUDED IN ZOOTOPIA

Lamancha goats are perhaps the most distinctive goat breed; easily recognizable by their very short ear pinnae.

They are known for their high milk production, and the comparatively high butterfat content in their milk, and they are also known for their people-loving temperament.

Soft Silky Birds

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

The Silky is a breed of chicken named for its uncharacteristic fluffy plumage, which is said to feel like silk and satin. .

The breed has several other unusual qualities, such as black skin and bones, blue earlobes, and five toes on each foot, whereas most chickens only have four. They are often exhibited in poultry shows, and appear in various colors. In addition to their distinctive physical characteristics, Silkies are well known for their calm, friendly temperament. It is among the most docile of poultry.

Skinny Pigs

INCLUDED IN ZOOFARI / ZOOTOPIA

Skinny pigs are also very social animals. They can be desensitized to other pets and people, but most prefer a compatible companion of the same species.

Once skinny pigs are accustomed to being held, they make for cuddly companions, but it might take some time to get used to petting a hairless animal
